Job Title: Business Analyst Issuance Platform
Location: New Jersey (3 days onsite )
Type: Contract to Hire after 6 months

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a BAU/Support-focused role within a high-volume payments and card issuance platform. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders product teams and engineering to translate business needs into clear requirements for a cloud-native API-driven system. On-call support rotation is required (additional compensation provided).
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather analyze and document business and system requirements
- Create epics user stories acceptance criteria and process flows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the SDLC
- Support testing validation and production issue resolution
- Perform root cause analysis for complex incidents
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/SAFe)
Required Skills:
- 8 years of Business Analyst experience in banking/fintech/payments
- Strong experience with card issuance payment processing or card management systems
- Understanding of card lifecycle (authorization disputes etc.)
- Experience with Agile methodologies Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with API-based platforms and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Exposure to B2B SaaS or enterprise applications
- Basic SQL knowledge
