Job Summary
Job Title: Supply Management Specialist
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration: 3 Years
Location: Horicon WI 53032
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM 2:00 PM)
Role Overview
Support sourcing procurement and supplier management activities in a manufacturing environment
Assist in cost analysis supplier performance and purchasing processes
Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and inventory tracking
Responsibilities
Identify suppliers request quotes and analyze sourcing options
Issue purchase orders and track order progress
Manage supplier communication and performance tracking
Support cost analysis spend analysis and make vs. buy decisions
Track inventory including experimental parts and coordinate with factory teams
Resolve invoice and supply-related issues
Collect analyze and report supply chain data
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with processes and policies
Must Have
Procurement or purchasing experience
Experience requesting and analyzing quotes (RFQ)
Supplier sourcing/identification experience
Strong communication and coordination skills
Basic data analysis and reporting skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Nice to Have
Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environment
Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
Understanding of inventory management and logistics
Experience with cost analysis or supplier performance metrics
Exposure to sourcing strategies or continuous improvement processes
