Job Description
The Associate Specialist in Supply Chain Management will provide support to various groups within Wilson Supply Chain Management including Planning Logistics Master Data/New Products and Change Control. This individual will serve as a key contributor within the Supply Chain function utilizing data information and available tools to deliver valuable insights that help drive business performance.
The candidate is expected to focus on data discovery and preparation model development and data mining as well as evaluating options and presenting recommendations. Their work will span a variety of projects aimed at enhancing service levels reducing cost and risk improving cash flow and supporting compliance with organizational policies and processes. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for sustained improvement and communicating these effectively to the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Reporting and Analytics
Point of contact for routine and ad hoc reports supporting warehouse planning and engineering for data analysis and audits.
Planning & Logistics Projects
Support MRP Automation and Digital Planning Projects ensuring adherence to GOM (Global Operating Model) and implementing system improvements.
Collaborate with above-site teams on the development and deployment of Qlik CAM Tower and PowerBI dashboards providing feedback as a SME for site usage.
Champion Business Continuity Plans and warehouse capacity projections.
Facilitate various ad hoc requests and projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Master Data and Safety Stock Parameter Management
Support updates for a variety of Planning Master Data fields and lead the review with Planning/Quality/SCM Hub to ensure accurate lead time parameters.
Assist in material safety stock strategy. Track necessary updates facilitate reviews and advise planners on alternative strategies as needed.
Team Collaboration and Leadership
Facilitate daily SCM Tier 2 meetings providing leadership within cross-functional teams.
Engage in public speaking and presentations to share project updates and insights with stakeholders and site leadership.
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelors Degree in a business or technical discipline including Supply Chain Business Planning Engineering Data Analytics Information Systems or equivalent required.
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft based systems with proficiency in Excel and PowerBI
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to break down complex problems and/or projects into manageable pieces to arrive at efficient and sustainable solutions
Self-working and natural sense of urgency and drive to completion
Strong communication skills and ability to create and present information logically and effectively.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Experience with Planning Systems such as SAP ECC SAP APO and Kinaxis Rapid Response.
Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
Ability to think End-to-End when analyzing problems and resolving project conflicts
Willingness to be flexible and to work in a rapidly changing environment
Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodology known as MPS internally
Able to effectively partner with functional areas outside your specific area of expertise

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is
$65100.00 - $102500.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills geographic location government requirements and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive if applicable.
