Description

SEWS Farmington Hills Michigan Office. Although located at SEWS Farmington Hills Office this is a Hybrid position which combines both in office and off-site work. Associates are required to work at least four days in the office each week but also have the flexibility to work off-site.
Basic Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to support the Value Chain Integration team with training and project completion for the North American Business Unit.
Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and support training schedule.
  2. Create maintain and complete training on template-set for training modules (e.g. 1-pager eLearning Microsoft Teams in-person etc.)
  3. Use ISD (Instructional Systems Design) to deploy training materials facilitate actual training and assess training needs for North American Business Unit.
  4. Ensure consistency accuracy and quality of content.
  5. File organize and maintain documents for internal and external customers.
  6. Communicate with technical and manufacturing experts to gain understanding of products including appropriate use and safety to create complete and accurate documentation.
  7. Have strong communication skill-set balancing expectation and empathy within the diverse working culture of Sumitomo.
  8. Facilitate assigned VCI projects create and maintain collaborative environment meeting scheduling workbook update accuracy and reporting of project progress to senior management.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree along with 1-3 years progressive engineering experience.
  • Documented training experience required.
  • Adobe Captivate software acumen required.
  • Proven experience with MS Office including Outlook MS Teams Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated exemplary writing and proofing skills with an excellent communication skill-set.
  • Manufacturing or engineering experience is strongly preferred.
