Job Summary
Description
SEWS Farmington Hills Michigan Office. Although located at SEWS Farmington Hills Office this is a Hybrid position which combines both in office and off-site work. Associates are required to work at least four days in the office each week but also have the flexibility to work off-site.
Basic Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to support the Value Chain Integration team with training and project completion for the North American Business Unit.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support training schedule.
- Create maintain and complete training on template-set for training modules (e.g. 1-pager eLearning Microsoft Teams in-person etc.)
- Use ISD (Instructional Systems Design) to deploy training materials facilitate actual training and assess training needs for North American Business Unit.
- Ensure consistency accuracy and quality of content.
- File organize and maintain documents for internal and external customers.
- Communicate with technical and manufacturing experts to gain understanding of products including appropriate use and safety to create complete and accurate documentation.
- Have strong communication skill-set balancing expectation and empathy within the diverse working culture of Sumitomo.
- Facilitate assigned VCI projects create and maintain collaborative environment meeting scheduling workbook update accuracy and reporting of project progress to senior management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors degree along with 1-3 years progressive engineering experience.
- Documented training experience required.
- Adobe Captivate software acumen required.
- Proven experience with MS Office including Outlook MS Teams Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated exemplary writing and proofing skills with an excellent communication skill-set.
- Manufacturing or engineering experience is strongly preferred.
