Position Overview
TheAssembly Technicianis responsible for assembling industrial equipment and components in a manufacturing environment with moderate supervision. ThisAssembly Technicianrole involves interpreting schematics working with heavy equipment and supporting production processes while maintaining quality and safety standards. The idealAssembly Technicianhas hands-on assembly experience strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Experience & Skills
25 years of experience in amanufacturing or assembly environment
Ability to read and interpretschematic diagrams general arrangements and P&ID drawings
Experience withhand tools power tools and basic fabrication processes
Ability to read atape measure and perform basic math
General knowledge ofrigging and lifting procedures
Ability to operate or learnhoists cranes and lifting equipment
Capability to performtack welding (preferred)
Strong teamwork skills and ability to contribute toprocess improvements
Ability to communicate effectively inEnglish
Physically capable of standing for long periods and performingbending lifting climbing and reaching
Ability to work inhot and cold environments
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assembleindustrial equipment and major components
Interpret and applyschematic diagrams and technical drawings
Assist with installation ofvarious system components
Operatehoists cranes and lifting equipmentsafely
Usehand and power toolsto complete assembly tasks
Performtack weldingas needed
Completesafety production and quality documentation
Maintain aclean and organized work environment
Participate inteam meetings and continuous improvement efforts
Follow allcompany safety policies and procedures
