Your Opportunity at SECURE

As Pipeline Operator you will be responsible for the safe and accurate movement of products through the pipeline system. You will monitor product quality complete sampling and testing perform minor maintenance and collect operational data. This role ensures compliance with safety standards and government regulations while supporting efficient operations across pipeline field assets and the terminal tank farm.

The Team

Our East Kaybob Terminal is a dynamic team committed to delivering best-in-class customer service while maintaining a strong safety-first culture. Team members take pride in working safely collaborating effectively and upholding high operational standards.

Work Environment

This position follows a 10-hour shift schedule on an 8 days on / 6 days off rotation at the East Kaybob Terminal. During scheduled work periods candidates must be available on a 24-hour on-call basis.

A Day in The Life

  • Assist with the daily maintenance and operating condition of stations terminals mainline gathering systems and associated equipment
  • Promote and enforce safety standards procedures and regulatory compliance
  • Perform routine inspections maintenance troubleshooting and general housekeeping
  • Provide orientation permits and control of work support to contractors and team members
  • Perform and document monthly safety equipment inspections
  • Maintain pump and motor oil levels as required
  • Coordinate maintenance activities including managing work orders and supporting contractors
  • Train and support team members and provide guidance to contractors on site
  • Support continuous improvement procedure updates and overall system reliability

Skills Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of pipeline operations experience
  • High School Diploma GED or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license and ability to pass pre-employment testing
  • Current safety certifications including H2S Alive First Aid Confined Space Entry WHMIS TDG Ground Disturbance and ICS
  • Strong ability to document work accurately and communicate effectively with key stakeholders
  • Proven ability to multi-task prioritize and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to safety with strong customer service and safe work practices
  • Ability to train mentor and support team members on site processes
  • High level of integrity accountability and professionalism
  • Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
