Overview
Position: Insurance Services Specialist
Location: Austin TX (on-site 5 days per week for first 90 days & then hybrid 2 days per week on-site)
Salary: $23/hr - $27/hr depending on experience
Position Summary:
The Insurance Services Specialist will report to the Insurance Supervisor and is responsible for reviewing reports and working tasks on a daily basis to monitor our insurance vendor.
Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
insurance reports daily monthly or bi-monthly to monitor our insurance vendor disburses premiums timely or letters are sent out timely according to the business rules and investor guidelines.
reports to ensure all loans in a flood zone have flood coverage and meet flood guidelines.
3. Works insurance flood and loss draft related tasks within MSP.
and log escalations on hazard loss draft and flood issues for inquiries disputes and complaints to ensure they are handled within specified timelines.
with borrowers and or agents as necessary to resolve inquiries.
with the supervisor to identify define and implement process changes.
Qualifications
Desired Education/Experience:
1. Candidate must have at least 1 - 2 years of knowledge in escrow Insurance Loss Draft Flood Services.
2. Minimum 1 - 2 years of mortgage experience.
3. In-depth knowledge of MSP with at least 3 years recent experience working with MSP.
4. History of reliable attendance.
5. Combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the essential job functions.
6. Has knowledge of commonly used terminology concepts and practices and procedures within the mortgage industry.
7. Preferred background in escrow mortgage servicing.
8. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

6. Strong PC skills. Must be proficient in MS Windows MS Outlook MS Office Suite MS SharePoint.
7. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including other business units managers subject matter experts and third-party business partners.
