Overview

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a Full-Time Lead Pharmacy Production Technician to add to our growing team at our Pharmacy located in Woodrige IL!

The primary purpose of the LeadProductionTechnician is to lead theproductionteam by example and monitor and assign workflow to theproductionpharmacy technicians based on the needs of the department and overall operational demands.

Working Hours:

  • Monday through Friday 12:00pm to 8:30pm.

Responsibilities

ProductionDuties:

  • Provide basic supervision ofdepartmentincluding adherence to Symbria Rx Services policies and procedures.
  • Assistthedepartmentsupervisorwithensuringthe departmentmeets allstandardsofpractice tocomplywithnecessarystateandfederalregulations
  • Participate in the corrective action process as needed in partnership with management and/or Human Resources.
  • Provide objective input at 90-day and annual performance evaluations.
  • Communicatetimelywith department supervisorregardingobstacles in the workflowin order toenhance operational efficiency.
  • Participate in the training program of all new Production Pharmacy Technicians ensuring they receive appropriate instructionand guidance according to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Assistthedepartmentsupervisorin tracking quality measures includingaccuratedispensing and productivity standards.
  • Communicate routinely and work collaboratively withdepartmentsupervisortoensureefficient and effective pharmacy operations.
  • Work collaboratively withdepartmentsupervisorto further developleadershipskills.
  • Perform theprinciplefunctions and responsibilities of the specific job description of the department being supervised (attach hereto) as needed.
  • Any and all duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily is necessary and the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • IL PharmacyTechnicianLicense
  • PharmacyTechnicianCertification(CPhT)
  • Knowledge of business English spelling and commercial arithmetic with ability to write in a clear and legible manner.
  • Excellent professional phone and customer service skills.
  • Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions.
  • General computer knowledge including Windows applications.
  • Ability to learn abbreviationsbrandand generic comparisons for interpreting prescriptions and for filling.
  • Ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate including nights weekends and holidays.

Qualifications preferred:

  • Pharmacy experience; minimum3-5years.
