The Role
The school is looking for a creative and strategic Subject Lead of Music who can lead with energy and vision while maintaining excellent classroom practice.
Responsibilities of the Subject Lead of Music include:
Leading and developing the Music curriculum across KS3KS5
Delivering high-quality lessons across performance composition and music theory
Driving high standards of teaching and learning within the department
Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
Leading ensembles concerts and school productions
Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the Music department

The Ideal Candidate

Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have strong experience teaching Music across KS3KS5
Demonstrate leadership experience or readiness to lead a subject area
Be passionate about performance and developing a thriving Music culture
Have excellent organisational and communication skills
