Utilization Review Assistant
Reports to: Director of Operations
Location: ABHS Office locations in Nashville Goodlettsville or Smyrna
Position Type: Full-Time; Hybrid - first 30 days in-office then 2-3 days per week working remotely
Salary: $38000 - $44000

The primary function of this position is to provide utilization review (UR) support for the assigned location/team to ensure compliance with all state insurance and contractual requirements for clinical documentation.
Primary Responsibilities

Ensure client charts are in adherence to State and insurance mandates.

Supply providers and administrative team with timelines for client documents and clinical documentation needed for new and existing clients.

Collaborate with program evaluation clinical and operations teams to ensure awareness of current and historical standards of documentation.

Maintain a high standard of organization and attention to detail while creating or changing client charts.

This position reports directly to ABHS Director of Operations.
Required Skills and Abilities:

Excellent oral and written communication skills reflecting professional knowledge and demeanor in all forms of communication.

Ability to effectively communicate deadlines and provide guidance to clinical and operations teams.

Demonstrate progressive knowledge of utilization management case management performance improvement and managed care reimbursement.

Capacity to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.

Capability to collect data and engage in appropriate feedback.
-
Strong organizational and self direction skills are critical.
Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred.

Prior experience in utilization review administrative or healthcare experience preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite including Word (Docs) and Excel (Sheets).
