Key Responsibilities
Develop and expand the West Africa market for building materials products.
Identify new business opportunities customers and distribution channels.
Work on commercial negotiations and coordinate closely with internal teams and customers.
Support the setup of customer-operated depots in strategic regions to drive secondary sales.
Monitor and improve market penetration and sales performance.
Submit weekly reports on journey plans sales activities and market developments.
Conduct market intelligence studies on imports local production pricing and competitor activities.
Participate in relevant trade exhibitions and industry events.
Collaborate with the Operations team providing feedback on product performance new designs and customer requirements.
Utilize CRM tools and Excel for reporting pipeline management and performance tracking.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in any discipline; MBA in Sales or Marketing preferred.
Proven experience in the Building Materials industry (Tiles Natural Stones Steel Paints etc.).
Strong exposure to the West African market.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive regional sales growth.
Knowledge of French for West African market coverage.
Strong communication negotiation and analytical skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Excel.
