Responsibilities
- Ensure overall compliance with Ledcors health safety and environmental standards as well as occupational health and safety regulations daily
- Demonstrate the ability to lead teams effectively in the day-to-day execution of work by managing resources materials and labour
- Report to the Superintendent any problems or unforeseen issues that could affect the project plan
- Train support and provide ongoing guidance to all site staff
- Complete daily paperwork and participate in conducting daily toolbox talks
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years carpentry experience
- Previous experience in a Carpenter Foreperson role
- Experience working on commercial ICI or residential projects
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Valid Fall Protection and First Aid certification
Work Conditions
- Monday to Friday with potential overtime required on weekdays and weekends
- Work in all weather conditions year-round and be willing to lend a hand where needed
