D&D Technologies a global leader in gate hardware and access solutions is seeking an experienced and driven Specification & Market Development Manager Americas to spearhead our commercial specification program and accelerate market growth across the region.

This influential role is ideal for a seasoned specification professional who thrives in a collaborative fastpaced and entrepreneurial environment.

About the Role

As the Specification & Market Development Manager you will lead the creation execution and ongoing refinement of the Americas specification program. Your work will directly impact sales performance by generating highvalue specifications with architects designers engineers and contractors across commercial and industrial markets.

You will collaborate closely with D&D Technologies ASSA ABLOYs Door Security Solutions (DSS) and Opening Studiosleveraging powerful networks platforms and tools to drive measurable specificationtosales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Specification & Program Leadership

• Manage and grow the endtoend specification process to meet longterm sales objectives.
• Build a collaborative CRM/Dynamics pipeline with DSS to ensure transparent tracking of specs and project conversions.
• Lead architect/specifier engagement using tools such as Mapalytics Sweets and BIM Objects.
• Develop and maintain product data pricing and specification materials across digital platforms.

Collaboration & Relationship Management

• Partner with DSS and Opening Studios to drive architectural lead generation.
• Work crossfunctionally with Sales Marketing and Product Development.
• Coordinate globally to identify emerging product and market opportunities.

Sales & Market Development

• Track largescale commercial projects from design through installation.
• Support the sales team in closing spec-driven opportunities.
• Capture competitive intelligence and translate insights into strategy.

Training & Education

• Deliver training to internal teams and key customers.
• Create and present accredited courses (AIA AEC Daily) and manage continuing education programs.

Marketing & Communication

• Develop targeted communications for the architectural community.
• Maintain listings specs and product data on CADdetails SpecTRAK and related platforms.

What You Bring

• 10 years experience in technical or architectural building product sales.
• Strong background in specifications within the construction industry.
• Proficiency with architectural tools (SolidWorks CAD Revit etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Excellent communication presentation and customer engagement skills.
• Experience leading specification or architectural sales teams.
• CSI experience/certification (preferred).
• Mechanical aptitude and advanced Microsoft application skills.
