Dutch-Speaking Customer Service Representative Insurance Company

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented Dutch-Speaking Customer Service Representative to join an international team in Lisbon Portugal supporting a well-established insurance this role you will be the first point of contact for Dutch-speaking customers guiding them through insurance-related queries and ensuring they receive clear accurate and empathetic assistance at every step.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer contacts via phone email and/or chat from Dutch-speaking clients regarding insurance products policies and claims
- Provide accurate and timely information on coverage policy terms and general insurance queries
- Assist customers through the claims process ensuring a smooth and professional experience
- Identify customer needs and escalate complex cases to the appropriate specialist teams when necessary
- Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction across all interactions
- Accurately maintain records of all customer contacts and interactions in the CRM system
- Stay up to date with product knowledge policy updates and internal procedures
Requirements
- Fluent Dutch (C1/C2 level) spoken and written
- Proficient level of English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine empathy for customers
- Ability to handle sensitive customer situations professionally and with discretion
- Detail-oriented with good organisational skills
- Comfortable working in a structured target-driven environment
- Previous experience in customer service insurance or financial services is an advantage but not required
