About the Opportunity:
Join the St Vincents Private Hospital Brisbane team as n our Medical Ward Team at our spectacular Kangaroo Point this permanent-part time role (working 24 hours per week) you will be pivotal in delivering high quality care to patients in our Medical Unit specialising in Chronic and Complex Pain Management.
You will be encouraged supported and feel empowered to make every day easier for the people we care so passionately about. This role involves delivering patient centred care that coordinates individualised care from admission and throughout hospitalisation to discharge. Applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for best patient outcomes. As the Clinical Nurse you will be required to act as a professional resource in all facets of caring for patients whilst problem solving within the clinical setting. You will work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager in the implementation of quality improvement activities to ensure the department is safe effective and follows best practice.

Things that work for us:
Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential
Willingness to be able to work on a permanent part time basis 24 hours per week
Minimum 4 years experience in acute care nursing is essential
Strong attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a busy acute care environment
Leadership skills (highly advantageous)
Effective communication skills at all levels enabling you to achieve best practice
Demonstrate excellent time management clinical problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to act as a positive role model with excellent communication and delegation skills
Proven ability to assess plan coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
