Associate Nurse Unit Manager Cancer & Wellness

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute sub-acute aged care and community services.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our Cancer & Wellness Services team.

The ANUM works under the delegation of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and provides leadership and support to a multidisciplinary this role you will lead the delivery of safe comprehensive and evidence-based nursing care to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients. Clinical practice is expected to align with Nursing and Midwifery Board standards organisational values capability frameworks and codes of conduct.

The successful applicant will have recent experience in Cancer and Oncology Services demonstrated leadership capability and a commitment to ongoing professional development in cancer nursing. A postgraduate qualification or progress towards one is desirable.

You will possess strong communication organisational and decision-making skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team. The role requires flexibility reliability professionalism and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
