We are currently seeking a Consumer Telesales Representative to join our team at Ctrack.
Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of this role is to manage inbound and outbound telephonic interactions with existing and potential customers to convert leads into sales and contracts. The Telesales Sales Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling company products achieving sales targets managing sales pipelines and delivering excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Sell company products and services telephonically to new and existing customers.
- Achieve individual Gross Profit and sales targets as set by management.
- Identify sales opportunities and convert leads into confirmed sales or contracts.
- Actively pursue leads provided by management and ensure consistent follow-up.
Customer Relationship Management
- Engage with customers in a professional and consultative manner to understand their needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to support retention and contract renewals.
- Contact clients regarding upcoming contract renewals and provide suitable solutions.
Lead & Pipeline Management
- Maintain and manage an accurate sales pipeline.
- Track and update all sales activities and opportunities on company systems.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all potential sales opportunities.
Customer Query Resolution
- Receive and handle inbound and outbound telephonic queries from customers resolving queries within scope or escalating them to the relevant department when required.
- Ensure queries are resolved efficiently in line with departmental procedures.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete all sales-related administration accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and submit required reports when requested by management.
Compliance & Process Adherence
- Ensure strict compliance with all company policies procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain professional conduct and adhere to departmental guidelines during customer interactions.
General Responsibilities
- Perform additional duties or tasks as reasonably required by management.
- Contribute positively to team performance and departmental objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
Education
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Relevant sales or customer service qualification will be advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in telesales or contact centre sales environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong telesales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Basic computer literacy and experience working with CRM systems.
