QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to work independently with limited direct supervision.
- Effective organization skills; demonstrated by the ability to prioritize and organize daily work schedules.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Ability to speak read and understand the English language.
- Experience in the use of computer programs (Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook).
- Physically able to operate a 4000-pound fork truck and battery-operated pallet jack.
- Demonstrate good math skills; be able to work with inventory quickly and accurately.
- Knowledge of operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Hold a valid Texas Drivers License (Class B - COL) with an acceptable driving record as established by the district.
- District employees will be given preference.

Salary(based on verifiable job-related experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist the Supervisor in the receipt of all shipments process receiving discrepancy and damage reports as needed.
- Move inventory to various locations manually by operating mechanical equipment including forklift pallet jack and handcart.
- Load and unload the delivery truck by hand or with a pallet jack.
- Perform warehousing and maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment supplies and materials.
- Maintain computerized inventory records.
- Participate in semi-annual wall-to-wall and monthly items inventories.
- Participate in equipment movement storage and disposal.
- Supervise and document the performance of employees assigned to the warehouse.
- Provide continual training motivation and direction to employees.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and dock areas.
- Ensure that all equipment facility and personal sanitation procedures are followed.
- The Food Handlers certification must be current and updated as required.
- Monitor and enforce the safety standards of the department administer training programs and report all accidents.
- Project a professional image in appearance and personal conduct. Utilize a positive professional proactive and innovative approach to work.
- Enforce all District and Department Policies and Procedures.
- Support the Nutrition Services Department with regular and reliable attendance.
- Occasional overtime is necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor Warehouse Manager Assistant Director of Nutrition Services Logistics or Nutrition Services Director.
