What this role is all about
As a Cash Application Analyst you will play a key role in customer cash application activities within the Finance Shared Services organization. Your focus will be on accurate cash application accounts receivable reconciliations and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements across the Americas region. You will work closely with multiple finance and commercial stakeholders in a multinational environment supporting smooth and reliable AR operations.
What youll do
- Ensure Americas cash application processes meet established KPIs
- Resolve unidentified cash items and manage other receivables
- Post customer invoices and prepare customer account statements
- Execute approved customer write-offs and perform customer or vendor netting upon approval
- Manage daily AR customer account inquiries and perform account reconciliations
- Apply withholding taxes (WHT) in line with local regulations
- Collaborate with Local Finance Invoicing Collections and Sales teams to optimize processes and strengthen controls
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests
- Compile and analyze customer financial data to record transactions prepare reports and verify accuracy
- Provide operational support to the direct lead and assist with updating team manuals and procedures
What makes you a strong fit
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in General Accounting within a Shared Services Center environment
- Hands-on experience in cash application processes and knowledge of WHT in the Americas region
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics SAP Oracle or similar platforms
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English spoken and written at an intermediate level or above
