Job Summary


The Commercial Division Manager will be tasked with driving actions to meet andexceed company commercial goals through territory development relationship building and process/policy improvements.

This position will require the skills necessary to develop a team monitor/manage districtperformance and train the territory team in business and role responsibilities. Thisposition will travel in territories to visit key account customers monitor performance andtrain and lead the territory managers executing sales and service strategies resulting inimproved commercial (sales/service) outcomes for our customers and the Company.

WORK LOCATION:
Michigan Indiana Northern Ohio
Due to the nature of this field-based role candidates mustreside within 60 miles of the Detroit MI metro area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive actions to improve key performance indicators in customer satisfactionsales (installs) distributor sales network growth full shop product categorygrowth direct service revenue direct service profitability direct service networkgrowth third party sales/service network growth and fix right first time two days(FRFT2D) through daily management and process improvements.
  • Develop and foster key relationships with the proper stakeholders at key accountcustomers to minimize customer equipment downtime and improve customersatisfaction.
  • Develop and implement action items for territory development (customersproduct lines etc.)
  • Manage and support Field Service Technicians
    • Conduct weekly meetings for the following topics:
      • Territory KPI review
      • Technician discussion (training gaps performance issues etc.)
      • Review of any issues that were escalated.
      • Communicate/review any business updates process changes andother critical info.
    • Ensure Techniciansare receiving support needed from othercompany resources (i.e. payroll HR Engineering etc.)
  • Payroll reporting and approvals
  • Daily management reporting (revenue dispatch data etc.)
BACKGROUND & SKILL:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of demonstrated success leading a team to achieveresults in aservice sales andcustomer service function.
  • Automotive aftermarket is a strong plus
  • Proven proficiency in remote work-ability to work independently while staying connected with a distributed team.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Excel and PowerPoint. Experience withbusiness intelligence tools(ex. Cognos Microsoft PowerBI etc.) is strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized communicator with the ability to effectively communicate to workgroups andindividuals efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability inplanning scheduling and coordinating activities to satisfycustomer needs on a timely basis.
  • A dedicated commitment to customer service excellence with a proven track record of providing professional and proactive support thatbuilds customer confidence trust and long-term relationships.
RELATIONSHIPS & TRAVEL:
  • Travel: Up to 50% travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Regular interactions with customers and prospects of Coats products including shop managersautomotive technicians and other members of the tire and wheel servicesindustry.
  • Frequent collaboration with internal teams in various departments within the organization including but not limited toField Service Customer Service and Finance.
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelors degree in business administration or related field is preferred(equivalent field experience and education combination may be sufficient).
