Location: Hyannis Massachusetts (Floating between facilities as needed)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 07:00 PM-07:30 AM
Weekly Pay: $2785 (Gross)
Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in Med/Surg and specialty units. The role involves utilizing the nursing process administering medications coordinating care and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment planning implementation and evaluation
Perform comprehensive patient assessments (physical psychological and social)
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
Develop and coordinate individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams
Serve as charge nurse as needed
Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
Support patient education and staff guidance
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Massachusetts
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to pass required clinical competency exams

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Medication administration and monitoring expertise
Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR systems)
Specialty Unit Preferences
Candidates with experience in the following areas are highly preferred:
Cardiac / Telemetry: ACLS certification telemetry experience
Oncology / Stroke / Palliative Care: Chemotherapy/Biotherapy experience preferred
Surgical / Dialysis: Experience with dialysis ventilated patients or procedural sedation
Orthopedic / Neuro / Post-Operative Care: Relevant specialty experience preferred
Work Environment
Acute care hospital setting
May float between units/facilities based on staffing needs
