Job Summary

Your responsibilities
You partner with R&D Sales Deliveryprojectsand Service to develop and improve cooking conceptsequipmentand lifecycle solutions for our customers.
You engage in early concept design and rebuild development to strengthen our offering and ensure competitive cooking technology.
You support customers and Sales inidentifyingprocess improvements while contributing to troubleshooting and technical problem solving in real projects.
You collaborate closely with internal teams to drive performance safety and quality improvements across the product portfolio and internal workflows.
Youparticipatein global activities and travel whento support engineering customersand development work.
What we expect from you
You have a BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering Process Engineering ChemicalEngineeringor equivalent relevant experience.
You bring experience from the pulping business with a strong understanding of cooking technology.
You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
You are curiouscollaborativeand committed to continuous improvement and you appreciate working closely with many different teams.
Some travel isas a natural part of the work.
To succeed in thisrole you will require the following:
You focus on understanding the full cooking plant and how to shape competitive solutions for customers. You use your experience from pulping and cooking technology to develop concepts supportprojectsand drive improvement work. You thrive in a collaborative environment where you work closely with engineering R&D Delivery and Service teams while contributing to long term product development.

You will join a dedicated and highly skilled product management team of eight engineers working in a technically advanced environment with a strong focus on performancesafetyand quality. The team develops concepts supports globalprojectsand collaborates closely with R&D giving you the chance to influence both technology and the future direction of cooking solutions. You will also interact daily with colleagues across Sales DeliveryServiceand other departments as Karlstad is Valmets largest site in Sweden with around 750 employees.
