Position:Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Palmer MA
Schedule: Monday through Friday
PRN and part-time are also available
Compensation: hourly rate from $30/hr to $35/hr based on experience
Our Select Physical Therapyoutpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience helping all of our patients get back to athletics work life and the things they love.
The office is a large well-equipped physical therapy clinic located in the center of Palmer. It offers a supportive environment with experienced clinicians who provide mentorship and guidance for professional development. The clinic treats patients of all ages and focuses primarily on orthopedic conditions giving staff the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation needs.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement with minimal supervision high quality physical therapy services for patients caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
- CPR Certification
