This contract on-site position provides a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality medical care in a fast-paced environment.

As a Locum NP/PA you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients ensuring they receive the best possible care. You will work alongside experienced healthcare professionals to manage urgent cases and contribute to our commitment to patient-centered care in the medical practice industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for patients in an urgent care setting
  • Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and injuries
  • Perform physical examinations and obtain medical histories
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records

Requirements

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant license
  • Associate degree or higher in a relevant medical field
  • Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Schedule: Weekdays (8a-8p) Saturday (8a-7p) or Sunday (8a-5p)

Daily Volume: 30-45 patients

Must be comfortable with pediatric patients ages 3 months

EMR: Practice Velocity

Must be board-certified
