Qualifications and Qualities
- ABachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related discipline
- Aminimum of 5 years ofrelevant work experience preferablywith substantial knowledge in systemmaintenance programming andaudio-visual (AV) technologies
- Previous experience in a tertiary institution or public organization will be an advantage
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem(SharePoint TeamsPowerBIPower Automate etc.)
- Proven experience in Windows-based PCsetup andtroubleshooting(knowledge and experience in Linux-based machine is a plus)
- Sound knowledge in modern video conferencing systems such as Zoom Microsoft Teams Webinar Cisco Webex andsetting upcorrespondingequipment
- Experience in setting up andmaintainingNetwork Attached Storage (NAS)
- Proficiencyin web programming languages/tools such as PHP Python MySQL HTML5 CSS JavaScript etc.
- Sound knowledgeinmodern Content Management Systems (CMS) such asSiteCore Drupal and WordPress
- Demonstrated ability to deliver multimedia solutions includingphotography videoproduction and post-productionediting
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Self-motivatedadaptableflexible creative and passionateabout emerging technologies

Key Responsibilities
The appointees willprovidea broad range of technical support services includingbut not limited to:
Digital Workplace &eOfficeOptimization:
- Design andmaintainOffice 365-based digital workplace solutions including SharePoint intranets Teams collaboration hubs and Power Automate workflows to streamline departmental operations
- Promote the adoption of Microsoft 365 applications to enhance productivity and remote collaboration
Multimedia & Digital Content:
- Produce high-quality multimedia content including photography video production and graphic design for departmental communications events and digital platforms
- Manage and curate content for departmental websites and social media channels
- Provide AV technical support for conferences seminars and events (including after-hours whenrequired)
Technical Infrastructure:
- Develop andmaintainfull-stack web applications (front-end back-end database)
- Provide tiered technical support and troubleshooting services
- Configure and deploy computer systems and peripheral devices
- Conduct user training on software applications and IT protocols
- Maintain IT asset inventory and preventive maintenance schedules
- Enforce IT security policies and compliance standards
- Design and implement innovative IT solutions
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. Those with less experience and/or lower qualifications may be appointed as IT Technician.
