Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibility:
Under direct supervision you will be responsible for the packaging and shipping offinished products for fulfillment of customer orders.
Activities:
- Package box and label finished goods to be shipped by common carriers couriers supplierscustomers and company employees;
- Follow packaging and shipping protocol per each customers specification;
- Prepare shipping documentation such as labels shipping logs packing lists and waybills;
- Ensure each days scheduled shipments are completed;
- Safely and properly move materials to and from finished goods storage area;
- Check any reported shipping damage and coordinate resolution with shipping supervisor;
- Compare shipping authorization against shipped documentation for accuracy;
- Record non-conformities and notify and coordinate those with shipping for the resolution of those;
- Other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- At least 2 years shipping experience;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Basic arithmetic skills
- High energy level and self-motivated;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- International shipping experience required.
Experience in stockroom receiving and/or material control is a plus.
