Job Title: Aluminium Sales Manager Windows Doors and Conservatories
Location: Stafford Staffordshire
Role Overview
The Aluminium Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth managing key client relationships and
overseeing the full sales cycle of aluminium windows doors and conservatories. The role involves identifying
new business opportunities managing existing accounts and delivering tailored technical and commercial
solutions to clients within the residential and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets within
aluminium window door and conservatory markets
Identify and secure new business opportunities across residential and commercial sectors
Generate leads through networking site visits industry contacts and tender opportunities
Promote aluminium windows doors and conservatories to contractors developers and homeowners
Drive specification sales by engaging with clients at early project stages to influence product selection
Client & Account Management
Manage and develop relationships with existing clients including installers contractors and developers
Act as the main point of contact for key accounts ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and
repeat business
Conduct site visits and client meetings to assess project requirements and provide tailored solutions
Maintain long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for account growth
Technical Sales & Specification
Provide technical advice on aluminium windows doors and conservatory systems
Prepare accurate quotations pricing and technical proposals using industry software
Interpret architectural drawings specifications and schedules to support project planning and sales
Ensure all products and solutions comply with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards
Liaise with design estimating and production teams to ensure accurate specification and delivery
Project & Order Management
Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to order placement and project completion
Coordinate with internal teams including production procurement and installation to ensure smooth
project delivery
Oversee order processing ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements
Track project progress and maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with internal departments such as estimating design and operations to support successful
project outcomes
Collaborate with architects builders and contractors to influence project specifications
Represent the business at meetings trade shows and industry events to promote products and services
Commercial & Reporting
Monitor market trends competitor activity and industry developments to inform sales strategy
Prepare regular sales forecasts reports and performance updates for management
Manage pricing strategies quotations and contract negotiations to ensure profitability
Support budgeting and revenue planning within assigned territory or accounts
Key Requirements
Proven experience in sales within the aluminium window door or conservatory sector
Strong technical understanding of aluminium systems and installation processes
Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to project completion
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong negotiation communication and relationship-building skills
Experience using CRM systems and sales/estimating software
Commercial awareness with a focus on achieving revenue and margin targets
Full UK driving licence (for field-based roles)
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience in specification sales and early-stage project engagement
Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and compliance requirements
Experience working with contractors developers and the private sector
Background in fenestration glazing or home improvement sales
