Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) is a multi-asset class investing group that sits within the Asset Management Division at Goldman Sachs. It designs and develops comprehensive investment management solutions customized to meet the investment objectives and relevant constraints of clients. These solutions bring together state-of-the-art techniques for multi-asset portfolio design and implementation and reflect proprietary research and analytics conducted by the MAS team. With investment professionals across the globe MAS invests or advises on assets for some of the worlds leading corporations sovereign wealth funds pension plans governments financial institutions endowments foundations and family offices.

YOUR IMPACT

We are seeking a member to join our Multi Asset Solutions (MAS) Lead Portfolio Management (LPM) team in Singapore. As a member of the Lead Portfolio Management Team within MASthe person will have the responsibility for designing and constructing multi-asset class portfolios for institutions including insurers pensions sovereign wealth funds E&Fs financial institutions and government institutions.This role is client-facing and highly analytical focusing on developing and communicating customized investment solutions and market views to clients.

Core responsibilities include:

• Portfolio design construction and oversight of multi-asset portfolios involving areas such as strategic asset allocation investment manager / vehicle selection and oversight risk / performance management and evaluation
• Portfolio analytics and application of thoughtful investment judgement in constructing investment solutions to align to specific investment objectives
• Develop client relationships by understanding client investment needs and proposing appropriate portfolio solutions
• Communicate and develop materials for clients and prospects including investment-related analysis client and prospect presentations and developing responses for client Request for Proposals (RFP)
• Work with distribution channels senior portfolio managers and internal teams to drive business opportunities
• Conduct and be involved in client engagement and training sessions to discuss portfolio construction approach to asset allocation markets and economy

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR

• 6-10 years of investment or portfolio management experience with a preference for cross-asset experience
• CFA charter holder preferred or pursuing it
• Client-focused mentality with ability to communicate complex market ideas/strategies to clients of varying levels of sophistication in both large and small audiences
• Strong communication skills and interest in the financial markets and a good investment sense/commercial instinct
• Highly organized individual able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Intelligent creative and good problem-solving abilities
• A self-starter should have ability to work independently as well as thrive in a team environment
• Detail-oriented and meticulous strong quantitative and analytical skills
