Our client is a logistics and shipping company specializing in freight forwarding and transportation services. The company provides efficient and reliable supply chain solutions supporting regional and international trade through its strong operational capabilities and customer-focused approach.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR) Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL)
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Handle GST filing and tax-related matters (Singapore)
- Assist with year-end audit tax filing and compliance requirements
- Monitor expenses cost control and budget tracking
- Work closely with logistics/operations team to verify transportation warehousing and related costs
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Support improvement of financial processes and internal controls
- Perform any other ad hoc finance duties assigned
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Minimum 35 years of relevant accounting experience; logistics or supply chain industry experience preferred
- Familiar with Singapore accounting standards and GST regulations
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate in English and Chinese (to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders)
- Singapore PR preferred
Added Advantage:
- Experience in logistics costing (transportation warehousing etc.)
- Prior audit exposure
- Able to handle full set of accounts independently
