Position Overview

Payroc is looking for experienced merchant services sales professionals who understand the industry and are tired of competing in a race-to-the-bottom pricing battle. We dont only compete on price we pride ourselves on offering unique tailored solutions that other processors simply do not offer.

Payrocs Sales Executives are responsible for prospecting developing relationships and closing new business with local merchants across industries such as restaurants retail hospitality healthcare and other services. Unlike traditional merchant services sales roles that compete primarily on price this position takes a consultative approach by offering industry-specific solutions that create real value for merchants. With strong internal support handling onboarding and ongoing service our Sales Executives can focus on building relationships identifying opportunities and growing a portfolio of satisfied clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactively prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories with the Sales Supervisor
• Deliver compelling and customized proposals that clearly communicate the value of Payrocs payment and solutions
• Maintain accurate and timely sales activity records by entering prospect pipeline and new client information into Salesforce CRM
• Manage and update customer and prospect data within Salesforce to ensure accurate tracking of sales activities opportunities and client relationships
• Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts pipeline reports and activity tracking to support territory planning and revenue goals
• Build and cultivate relationships with industry associations networking groups and local business communities to generate referrals and expand market presence

Qualifications

• 12 years of sales experience required preferably in a customer-facing or business development environment.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce ACT or similar systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present information and interpret written materials.
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to professionally handle questions concerns and challenging situations.
• Highly dependable with a strong sense of accountability consistently meeting commitments and completing tasks on time.
• Demonstrates professionalism in interactions with clients and colleagues including the ability to remain composed and solution-focused under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow established processes policies and administrative requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling merchant services and POS solutions.
• Ability to read and analyze a merchant statement.
• Associate or Bachelors degree - Business/Communications/Hospitality Management or related field
• Bilingual (Spanish Farsi Hindi Mandarin or Arabic).

Working Conditions

• Actively travel throughout the assigned territory to prospect meet with clients deliver presentations and develop new business opportunities.
• Frequent interaction with team members management agents Business Development Managers (BDMs) and external partners to facilitate smooth operations and collaborations.

Travel Component

• More than 75%; as needed
