Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a long-term care facility in Dallas TX.
This role focuses on improving residents communication cognitive function and swallowing abilities helping enhance overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat residents with speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
-
Provide therapy to improve communication comprehension and swallowing function
-
Reduce aspiration risk and support safe feeding practices
-
Educate residents families and caregivers on therapy plans and techniques
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team
-
Ensure compliance with state federal and facility regulations
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
-
Active Texas SLP License (or Compact License)
-
Minimum 2 years of SLP experience REQUIRED
-
Experience in LTC or geriatric settings preferred
-
Strong communication and patient care skills
