About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Application ProductionSupport Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting critical productionenvironments within the financial sector.
You will play a key role in ensuring system stabilityincident resolution and continuous service improvement working in a 24/7production environment with on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 production support (shifts weekends and on-call)
- Handle incidents service requests and infrastructure maintenance (BAU)
- Analyze system logs and troubleshoot application & infrastructure issues
- Monitor services manage alerts and improve availability & performance
- Support and optimize batch processing workflows
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles
- Ensure compliance with IT standards and best practices
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Linux/UNIX & Windows environments
- Scripting knowledge: UNIX Shell PowerShell Python
- Experience with Autosys (job creation & modification)
- Solid understanding of ITIL practices
- Knowledge of PL/SQL
- Familiarity with Middleware (WAS Tomcat)
- Experience with CI/CD tools
Nice to Have:
- Networking & Storage fundamentals
- Databases: Oracle MS SQL Server
- Tools: SFTP AXWAY CFT MQ Ansible Docker Jenkins Bitbucket ELK
- Exposure to Cloud environments
