Assistant Executive Housekeeper
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supports the Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping department to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness hygiene presentation and guest satisfaction across all guest rooms public areas and back-of-house areas. The role involves supervising housekeeping operations maintaining service standards managing staff and ensuring efficient departmental performance in line with the hotels brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure guest rooms suites public areas corridors and service areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene.
Assist in planning organizing and directing all housekeeping activities to maintain five-star cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms public areas and back-of-house areas to ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor housekeeping schedules and coordinate daily room assignments to maximize efficiency.
Provide training coaching and guidance to housekeeping team members to maintain service excellence.
Handle guest requests complaints and special requirements efficiently and professionally.
Coordinate VIP room preparation and special amenities as required.
Ensure compliance with hygiene sanitation and health & safety regulations.
Support departmental planning budgeting and operational improvements.
Report maintenance issues promptly and follow up until resolved.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum three (3) years of experience in a similar role at a star-class hotel
Strong knowledge ofhousekeeping operations cleaning standards and luxury hotel service requirements.
Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage a large team and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work flexible hours based on operational requirements.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively both internally and externally
