Security Officer Unarmed Driving Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in San Diego CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As an unarmed driving patrol officer at a residential community you will help monitor and patrol assigned areas complete vehicle rounds and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will document observations respond to resident and/or visitor concerns with strong customer service and communicate clearly with your team. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents guests and property staff by following site-specific security-related procedures policies and post orders and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings common areas parking areas and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and respond to visitor and vendor inquiries assisting with directing traffic and/or coordinating entry in accordance with property guidelines.
• Respond to incidents alarms disturbances and resident concerns in a calm problem-solving manner requesting additional assistance from site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols incidents and observations in written and/or electronic reports and communicate significant updates to property management and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
