About us

Highpoint Health- Sumner has been providing quality health care to Middle TN for 65 years. Since opening in 1959 we have grown from one facility with just 50 employees and 7 physicians to a comprehensive health care leader in the community with more than 1000 employees and 300 physicians. Today we operate as a 167-bed healthcare facility and provide quality care in numerous areas of health care.

How youll contribute

As a Monitor Technicianjoining our team youre embracing a vital mission dedicated tomaking communities healthier. This includes:

Performing continual surveillance of multiple monitors
Identifying significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately
Reporting abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff
Testing equipment for proper working order and reports problems to supervisor

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalentrequired
Handle with Care (HWC) within 6 months of hire/transfer
