About the Job

• Ensure compliance with processes procedures and strategies for managing land operations by analyzing statistical data and performance indicators to maintain the highest operational standards.
• Oversee and support negotiations with carrier partners to guarantee constant operational flow timely service delivery customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Provide problemsolving support by negotiating exceptional space special rates or specific operational actions required to address issues with service providers and clients.
• Define and implement performance metrics for carriers to evaluate their efficiency and related operational processes and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with service providers.
• Build and maintain longterm relationships with senior stakeholdersclients customs brokers warehouses carriers partners other suppliers and internal teamsto collaboratively develop innovative solutions prevent issue recurrence and exceed customer expectations.
• Implement strategies for the efficient management of land operations through analysis and validation of daily financial and operational indicators ensuring optimal profit margins and performance above budget and forecast expectations.
• Support Air Freight and Sea Freight teams with integrated strategies in operational matters pricing and carrier management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About You

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field; a Masters degree in Business Administration is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered in lieu of formal educational requirements.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Land Freight operations within a freight forwarder or the transportation industry.
• Knowledge of land product policies and procedures.

Knowledge Skills & Attributes

• Experience in land transportation (freight forwarder or logistics operator).
• Understanding of documentation processes.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Outlook PowerPoint and Word).
• Fluency in Spanish (100%) and at least an intermediate level of English.
• Strong timemanagement and prioritization skills.
• Customerfocused adaptable and capable of performing in highpressure environments.
• Ability to calculate figures such as freight rates discounts and other percentagebased values.
