Start in May 2026 as a Global Procurement Finance Intern at our international headquarters in Utrecht. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience at the intersection of finance and strategic sourcing. You will support key initiatives that drive cost and cash optimization improve financial transparency and ensure compliance in procurement organization.
Your key activities will be:
- Supplier Risk Assessment: Analysing supplier financial health indicators identifying potential risks to the business and coordinating with Procurement to create mitigation plans
- Productivity Tracking & Reporting: Support the monitoring and reporting of procurement savings initiatives ensuring accurate documentation and alignment with financial targets
- Forecasting: Support the standard cost setting process and building the productivity pipeline for the following year
- Process Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at streamlining procurement finance processes and enhancing efficiency
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders across Finance and Procurement to support data requests and/or business case development

- A monthly internship allowance of 525 (full-time)
- Travel compensation if you dont have a free public transport card
- Paid holidays for each internship term

For this role as a Global Procurement Finance Intern were looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
Are you curious eager to learn and full of ideas Then we would like to get to know you!
- Academic Program: You are enrolled in a bachelors or masters program for the entirety of the internship preferably in International Business Finance Economics or related fields
- Skillset: You possess excellent analytical skills and a strong attention to detail coupled with good MS Office skills especially Excel and Powerpoint (PowerBI a plus).
- Personal traits: You have a structured approach a driven and energetic personality excellent communication and people skills and the ability to work both in a team and independently
- Commitment: You are available for at least 1 year ideally from May 2026 to April 2027
- Availability: You can join the internship for 5 days per week including four days in-office and one day remotely ensuring a great balance between collaboration and independence.
Academic Requirements
- Your internship must be part of your studies and contribute to your credits
- Your educational institution must be willing to sign a cooperation agreement with JDE (and possibly an NDA depending on the department)
- You are an EU/EEA student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a non-EU/EEA student residing in the Netherlands and enrolled at a Dutch educational institution
