At Sofitel Sydney Wentworth we are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Account Director Corporate to join our high-performing Sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a globally recognised luxury brand while driving corporate revenue growth and building long-term client partnerships.
What Youll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate accounts focusing on businesses within close proximity to the hotel
- Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships to maximise retention and revenue opportunities
- Proactively identify pursue and convert new business opportunities
- Build strong partnerships with travel agents and key stakeholders to drive account performance
- Conduct regular sales calls client meetings and site inspections to promote hotel offerings
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with revenue targets
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of client expectations
- Prepare proposals follow up on leads and ensure timely response to all client enquiries
- Maintain accurate records reporting and account information within sales systems
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in corporate sales within hospitality or a similar industry
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- A proactive results-driven approach with a focus on achieving revenue targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into business
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Experience using CRM or sales systems preferred
- Knowledge of the Sydney corporate market is highly regarded
