Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Float in Dallas TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech media and telecom location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to issues document observations and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer-focused service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
- Monitor access points and authorized entry processes verify credentials as required and assist with directing visitors deliveries and contractors according to site protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with notifications scene awareness and coordination with site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
- Document patrol activity incidents and unusual observations in reports and/or electronic logs and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
