Outreach Program Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Operations Manager is a key member of the project sourcing team for experiential learning projects at the Wisconsin School of Business (WSB). This role shares ownership of the project pipeline including outreach to prospective sponsors pitching capstones and other course-based projects developing project ideas with the client and preparing projects for faculty led scoping. The Project Operations Manager collaborates with faculty to understand course learning outcomes and translates those into defined high-quality project opportunities.

This role is also responsible for Salesforce maintenance contract administration invoicing and project tracking while guiding experiential learning marketing efforts across all programs. Serving as a primary point of contact prior to project kickoff the Project Operations Manager maintains sponsor relationships coordinates logistics and ensures a smooth and timely handoff of projects to faculty for execution.

Tasks:

  • Outreach to Tier 1 & 2 Companies: Assists with company networking and cold-calling to secure leads and advancing projects through the sales funnel.

  • Leads Project Operations: including Salesforce management contract administration invoicing etc.

  • Implements the Experiential Learning marketing plan including flyers social media accounts website updates and blog posts.

  • Maintains relationships with stakeholders and guides them through the timeline of engagement providing clear communication.

  • Collaborates with other outreach leaders at WSB to create a seamless coordinated experience for corporate partners.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Reviews recommendations for and provides input on the design and development of new outreach programs or services
  • Develops and implements operating policies and procedures to promote the outreach program in alignment with the strategic plan
  • Determines outreach program needs and the personnel resource allocation plan
  • Monitors the unit or program budget and approves program expenditures
  • May exercise supervisory authority including hiring transferring suspending promoting managing conduct and performance discharging assigning rewarding disciplining and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees
  • Supervises the implementation of outreach-program-focused strategic planning initiatives and objectives

Compensation:

The minimum salary for the position is $70000. Actual starting salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
