Job Summary
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacist for a short-term inpatient hospital coverage assignment in the Monticello KY area. This role will support pharmacy operations in a critical access hospital setting including order entry IV preparation automation support and medication dispensing.
Assignment Details
- Training: May 15 7:30am 4:00pm plus on-call
- Coverage: May 1617 On-call only
- Coverage: May 1819 7:30am 4:00pm plus on-call
- On-call extends until 7:30am on May 20
Weekend coverage: On-call only
Requirements
- Active Kentucky Pharmacist License in good standing
- Inpatient hospital experience required
- Experience with order entry IV mixing and automation
- MEDHOST experience preferred
Omnicell experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Order entry and medication verification
- IV preparation and medication dispensing
- Automation management and Omnicell support
- Clinical support for medical staff
Additional Information
- Critical access hospital setting
- Pharmacy team includes Director of Pharmacy and staff pharmacist
- Dress code: Business casual
