Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Trailblazer in Philadelphia PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-visibility tech media and telecom retail location as an unarmed Patrol Officer. You will conduct routine foot patrols stay present on the floor and/or around the property and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will assist customers and staff with professionalism clear communication and a service-first approach. Bring your teamwork and integrity to a caring agile reliable and innovative environment.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders security-related procedures and site-specific policies including support for emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail technology locations sales floors stock areas and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
- Monitor entrances exits and restricted areas verifying access as directed assisting with visitor direction and supporting orderly queue and crowd flow during peak business hours and special events.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as needed and providing clear directions to occupants.
- Document security-related activity incidents and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs communicating timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
