Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery (Postpartum / Nursery / Antepartum)
Location: Sweetwater TX
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Variable (Details to be discussed)
Weekly Pay: $1800 $2000 (based on experience)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a rural hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be confident in providing comprehensive maternal care across all stages including antepartum labor & delivery postpartum and newborn nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care across antepartum labor & delivery postpartum and nursery
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
Assist with deliveries and perform OB circulating duties (preferred)
Deliver postpartum care and newborn assessments
Educate patients and families on maternal and newborn care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Facility Overview:
Rural hospital environment
Approximately 2030 deliveries per month
Close-knit team with a broad scope of practice
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
Ability to independently manage multiple areas within womens services
Comfort working in a rural low-volume but high-responsibility setting
Preferred Skills:
OB Circulator experience
Certifications Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
STABLE Certification
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Additional Information:
