Position Summary
We are seeking an experiencedNurse Supervisor (RN)to lead clinical operations within theBehavioral HealthThis role is responsible for supervising nursing staff ensuring high-quality patient care and maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory standards in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff .
- Ensure safe effective and patient-centered care delivery
- Coordinate daily staffing assignments and workflow
- Monitor compliance with hospital policies clinical protocols and regulatory requirements
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff
- Collaborate with physicians interdisciplinary teams and leadership
- Address and resolve clinical and operational issues in real time
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Required Qualifications
- ActiveNew York State Registered Nurse (RN) license(single-state license only; compact licenses not accepted)
- BLS certificationfrom the American Heart Association (AHA)
Required Experience
- Minimum ofseven (7) years of nursing experience
- At leastfive (5) years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Behavioral Health experience
- Emergency Room (Adult) experience strongly preferred
