Lakeside School District is seeking a qualified and motivated educator to serve as the Head Junior High Girls Basketball Coach and classroom teacher with an additional spring sport coaching assignment. This position is for the school year and will begin in July 2026.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the junior high girls basketball program while supporting the growth and success of the overall Lakeside athletic program.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Arkansas teaching license.
- Must hold the required Arkansas coaching endorsement.
- Applicants holding an out-of-state teaching license must provide documentation showing they have begun the reciprocity process with the Arkansas Department of Education.
Salary
- Salary ranges from $56126 (minimum) to $80680 (maximum) based on the salary schedule for a 205-day contract.
- Salary is based on verified years of experience.

Coaching Stipend
- Head Junior High Girls Basketball Stipend: $3443
- Additional coaching stipends for the second spring sport will vary based on the specific assignment.
Additional Information
- Experience coaching basketball at the junior high or high school level is preferred.
- The position includes a second spring sport coaching assignment which will be determined based on program needs and applicant experience.
- The successful candidate must be a team-oriented coach who works closely with the Head High School Girls Basketball Coach to develop and implement a cohesive 712 vision for the girls basketball program ensuring alignment in philosophy skill development and player progression.
