Position Title: Category Manager Indirect Materials

Position Summary:
This position leads the development of category and supplier segmentation new supplier qualification system/master data maintenance supplier relationship management (SRM) for indirect material suppliers within their respective category areas.
This person will provide overall Procurement and general business acumen to every conversation that he or she represents and is responsible for the business requirements on Cost Saving(SCA) Sustainability Innovation and Supply Continuity
This role has accountability for sourcing activities associated with specific categories of spend. This scope includes ongoing risk mitigation and managing planning and data collection problem solving and issue resolution.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute indirect material category strategy include Energy (green energy) Chemicals in factory Casual labor and some other factory activities. And the person will support the headquarters spending on IT HR S&M
- Lead the overall procurement process including supplier screening RFX nego contract BAR/Business allocation recommendation under the right procurement governance policy
- Work across functions with manufacturing and engineering to delivery company sustainability target
- Deliver the RE (renewable energy) target of company 100% RE till 2030
- Scope 1&2 CO2 emissions target
- Find innovative solution for natural gas water etc utility spending
- Work with factories to find and drive continuous improvement on our spending of cleaning chemicals wastewater treatment chemicals and other areas.
- Support IT HR and part of head quarter spending.
- Supplier relationship management
- Quarterly KPI review with key suppliers
- Strategic SRM
- Trouble shooting on key supply problem etc
- Collaborate among global procurement network
- Bring outside to inside to drive innovation and cost saving
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or above
- 5-10 years of purchasing experience knowledge of manufacturing industry food industry
- Breadth of knowledge in purchasing experience negotiation contracting finance good analysis skill project management
- Food service industry experience/Co-manufacture sourcing preferred
- Experience of Lean manufacturing Six Sigma
- Experience of supporting manufacturing operation team
