ABOUT ACCESS OFFSHORING:

We specialise in providing Australian businesses with experience and qualified professionals based in the Philippines. JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the head of the Hospitality Division in this hands-on role you work alongside the Practice Manager and the core accounting team to support the delivery of achieving the firm goals.

You will have the potential opportunity through continual and advanced study to evolve and work across a variety of areas including accounting taxation superannuation management accounting and business advisory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • AP Invoice entry weekly into accounting software using a paperless software (Lightyear);

  • AP Prepare weekly creditors report and deliver to manager and clients;

  • AP Prepare weekly payments and load ABA files to the bank;

  • AP reconcile creditors ledger with the General Ledger;

  • Assist with accounts general ledger reconciliations;

  • Sales and Payroll Journals;

  • General PA duties and administrative duties as and when required;

  • Liaise with clients as required.

Requirements

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualifications in Accounts Payable with a minimum of 3 years experience.

  • Experience with Xero.

  • Ability to manage deliver outcomes to stakeholders that are accurate timely and of a high quality

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team

  • Exceptional computer skills

  • Positive can do attitude with a natural skill for developing strong relationships with the team and stakeholders

Required Skills:

At least 4 years experience in Bookkeeping or accounting Xero and Xero Payroll Certifications Intermediate Word and Excel skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Desired Skills or Qualifications: Accounting degree Intermediate MS Excel and MS Word Certification; Well honed bookkeeping skills with above average communication skills Requires a keen eye for detail and proficiency in handling complex financial tasks.
