Job Summary

The position is responsible for the regular maintenance of two industrial buildings. The majority of the responsibilities for both buildings include daily cleaning and sanitation (i.e. vacuuming mopping dusting and cleaning surfaces).

Additional job responsibilities include handyperson work (i.e. light plumbing and electrical).

Ideally the position can also service machinery and industrial equipment. The job requires a fast-paced mentality and fixer-attitude with strong organizational skills.

Responsible for all building and ground repair for both facilities.

Performs janitorial duties while effectively managing time to maintain cleaning schedule priorities.

Perform inventory tracking of all cleaning supplies; and order requests for said supplies.

Coordinates the setup of new equipment and preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment facility maintenance and repairs for all facilities.

Assist in installation of new and relocation of existing equipment involves dismantling erection leveling fitting and aligning operations.

Communicates thoroughly and frequently with management as to status of repairs maintenance related issues equipment utilization.

Analyzes equipment repair expenses over time to help guide repair or replace decisions for individual pieces of equipment for all facilities.

Records and logs maintenance repairs and inspections

Performs maintenance/construction repair.

Replacing lightbulbs and other electrical work

Repairs plumbing - sinks toilets etc.

Minor HVAC repair and maintenance

Performs electrical and preventative maintenance and repairs to associated equipment.

Digs sweeps shovels and pressure washes as needed.

Operates and maintains a variety of maintenance associated power tools.

Collects and disposes of all litter trash and debris on grounds streets and parking lots.

Performs limited repairs of buildings and associated equipment fixtures and infrastructure.

Experience and knowledge installing and making repairs to interior walls (including painting) tile(s) carpet ceiling and coverings made of various materials.

Experience and knowledge installing and making repairs to various hardware including but not limited to door closures mortis and cylindrical locks.

Installing shelves/racks and hanging pictures

May be required to perform other maintenance duties and functions or assist in other departments as needed depending on the needs of the business.
