Tekberry is seeking multiple Facilities Inspectors to support during a key student housing transition period. This role is responsible for inspecting housing units documenting damages coordinating maintenance follow-up and ensuring spaces are fully prepared for incoming residents.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed room and facility inspections to assess condition safety concerns and maintenance needs
Document damages and support billing assessments using standardized processes
Enter and manage maintenance work orders for identified issues
Coordinate with housing staff custodial teams and vendors to resolve deficiencies
Verify completion of repairs cleaning and inventory requirements
Conduct inventory counts and confirm furniture and fixtures are in place
Generate reports and maintain accurate documentation
Follow all R&DE safety protocols and operational standards
Assist with additional facility-related projects as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year of relevant experience
Strong attention to detail accuracy and accountability
Ability to work independently in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer and reporting skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in facilities housing operations property management or hospitality environments
Familiarity with inspections turnover processes or work order systems
Valid California Drivers License (a plus; minimal driving required)
Work Environment & Requirements
100% onsite role with high daily movement (walking/stairs)
Exposure to housing units in various conditions (clean and in-transition)
Occasional extended hours depending on operational needs
Minimal driving required (< 10%)
