Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to maintain cleanliness and floor care across assigned areas. This role is responsible for ensuring floors and facilities remain clean safe and well-maintained using proper equipment and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform floor care tasks including scrubbing stripping waxing buffing and polishing
- Vacuum shampoo and maintain carpets and rugs
- Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment (buffers scrubbers etc.)
- Clean hallways stairways common areas and workspaces
- Move furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning
- Report maintenance issues (lights doors fixtures etc.)
- Maintain windows elevators and surrounding areas
- Follow all safety procedures when using chemicals and equipment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 3 years of janitorial or floor care experience preferred
- Experience using floor machines and cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
